The second day of our surgical treatment of spinal deformities was a real challenge for our experts in the SPINE DAYS.
Our clinical experts dealt with different types of scoliosis as well as different surgical approaches during the event:
First, PD Matthias Pumberger (Charité Berlin), PD Max Scheyerer (University Hospital Cologne) and PD Michael Betz (University Hospital Balgrist, Zurich) showed how to perform a posterior correction of de-novo scoliosis during a surgical live demonstration.
After that we witnessed a surgical live battle, showcasing two different surgical techniques for the correction of degenerative scoliosis in direct comparison.
